Savoring Sausage and Peppers Over Mashed Potatoes

- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 2 bell peppers red and green
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned.
Remove the sausage and set it aside.
Sauté the onion, garlic, and bell peppers in the same skillet.
Add the cooked sausage back into the skillet.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Prepare the mashed potatoes separately.
Mash the potatoes with butter and season to taste.
