Add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the oregano, then let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta and mozzarella cheese to the skillet, tossing to combine.
If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
