Nutritious Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bars

Rich dark chocolate pairs with crunchy nuts and a hint of sea salt, creating irresistibly satisfying nut bars that elevate any snack occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed nuts almonds, walnuts, cashews
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips 70% cocoa or higher
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a food processor, blend the mixed nuts until coarsely chopped.
  • Add the pitted dates, dark chocolate chips, honey (or maple syrup), sea salt, and vanilla extract into the processor.
  • Pulse until the mixture is well combined and starts to form a sticky dough.
  • Transfer the mixture to the lined baking dish and press it evenly into the corners.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until slightly golden.
  • Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting.
  • Cut into squares or rectangles and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
