Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheel of brie cheese about 8 oz
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Fresh herbs optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut a circle of pastry to fit the brie.
  • Place the brie in the center of the dough circle.
  • Top the brie with cranberry sauce.
  • Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing it tightly.
  • Brush the outside of the pastry with the egg wash.
  • Transfer the wrapped brie to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
