Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dessert Pizza made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for cream cheese layer
  • 1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling
  • Optional toppings: crushed nuts sprinkles, or additional chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and well combined.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and mix until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the cookie dough mixture evenly onto a greased pizza pan or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a pizza crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The center may look slightly underbaked; that’s okay as it will firm up as it cools.
  • While the cookie crust is cooling, prepare the cream cheese layer. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined and creamy.
  • Once the cookie crust is completely cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the top of the crust.
  • Top with whipped topping or whipped cream, then drizzle with chocolate syrup. Add any optional toppings like crushed nuts or sprinkles.
  • Slice into wedges and serve immediately for a fun dessert experience!
