Season the Steak and Shrimp
In a bowl, season the steak pieces with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Do the same with the shrimp in a separate bowl. Set aside.
Sear the Steak
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the butter melts and the pan is hot, add the steak. Sear for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
Combine and Finish
Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the shrimp. Toss everything together for 1 minute, spooning the garlic butter over the top.
Serve
Sprinkle chopped parsley on top if using, and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
