Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then dry them.
Using a sharp knife, make thin slices across each potato, roughly 1/8 inch apart, but not all the way through.
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
Brush the butter mixture generously over each potato, making sure to get it in between the slices.
Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with more butter halfway through.
Once golden and crisp, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
