Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then dry them.
  • Using a sharp knife, make thin slices across each potato, roughly 1/8 inch apart, but not all the way through.
  • Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  • Brush the butter mixture generously over each potato, making sure to get it in between the slices.
  • Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with more butter halfway through.
  • Once golden and crisp, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
