Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, beating until well combined.
