Add the brown sugar, honey, salt, and pepper to the skillet, stirring until combined.
Add the prepared carrots to the skillet and stir to coat well with the glaze.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the carrots simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
Uncover and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the glaze to thicken.
Once glazed, remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh thyme or parsley before serving.
