Ingredients

  • 12 mozzarella sticks
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Nashville hot chicken seasoning
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Garnish of chopped parsley optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of bacon, securing the ends.
  • Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with Nashville hot seasoning.
  • Coat each bacon-wrapped stick first in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  • Carefully place the coated sticks into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Drain fried sticks on a paper towel-lined plate and sprinkle with any remaining seasoning.
