  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Honey Pepper Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
    • Stir and let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Glaze the Chicken:

    • Slice the cooked chicken into strips and return them to the skillet.
    • Toss the chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.

 

  • Serve:

    • Plate the glazed chicken and drizzle any remaining sauce on top.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
