Stuffed Seafood Bread Bowls with Creamy Garlic Sauce – Easy & Delicious Comfort Food

  • Author: Mary

Ingredients

Scale

For the Bread Bowls:

  • 4 large round bread rolls

For the Seafood Filling:

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped

  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Set your oven to 350°F.

  • Prepare the Bread Bowls:
Cut off the tops of the bread rolls and gently hollow out the centers, leaving about 1/2 inch of bread around the edges to create sturdy bowls.
Set aside the removed bread for another use (like breadcrumbs).

  • Make the Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper. Mix well.
Gently fold in the chopped shrimp, shredded crab meat, and fresh parsley until evenly combined.

  • Fill the Bread Bowls:
Spoon the seafood mixture into each hollowed-out bread roll, slightly mounding the top.

  • Bake:
Place the filled bread bowls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the filling is bubbly.

  • Serve:
Sprinkle additional fresh parsley on top of each bread bowl for a pop of color.
Serve immediately while the bread is warm and the filling is creamy.
