  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves

  • ¼ cup balsamic glaze

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: 1 tablespoon honey for added sweetness


Instructions

 

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into thin rounds. If using larger mozzarella balls, cut them in half.

  2. Assemble the Salad: On a serving platter, alternate layers of sliced strawberries and mozzarella balls. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers for a vibrant presentation.

  3. Dress the Salad: Drizzle the assembled salad with balsamic glaze and olive oil. If desired, add a touch of honey for extra sweetness.

  4. Season: Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
