Ingredients

2 tablespoons oil

1 pound steak (strip loin, ribeye, or filet mignon)

Cajun seasoning, to taste

2 tablespoons butter

8 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, chopped

1/4 cup chicken broth
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (or to taste)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice
-
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions

Cook the Steak:
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the steak with Cajun seasoning.
Sear both sides until browned and cooked to your liking.
Remove steak from the skillet and set aside. -
Sauté the Shrimp:
Reduce heat to medium.
Add butter to the same skillet.
Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side, until pink.
Remove shrimp and set aside. -
Make the Sauce:
Add chopped garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any bits from the bottom.
Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Cajun seasoning.
Let it simmer for a minute. -
Finish the Sauce:
Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Mix in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
Return shrimp to the skillet and coat in the creamy sauce. -
Serve:
Place steaks on plates and spoon the Cajun shrimp sauce over the top.
Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
