Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 tablespoon sriracha or hot sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together ketchup, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sriracha, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.

Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat with the marinade. Let sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours).

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken 5–6 minutes per side, basting with extra marinade, until fully cooked and slightly charred.

Let rest a few minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
