Ingredients
🍎 Apple Cider
Use a high-quality apple cider for the best results. Look for fresh-pressed or unfiltered cider for that rich, rustic flavor. Apple juice can work in a pinch, but cider adds more depth.
🍒 Cranberry Juice
Use 100% cranberry juice for that tangy, deep flavor. Avoid cranberry juice cocktails that contain added sugar or corn syrup. The tartness balances the sweetness of the cider.
🍊 Orange Slices
Oranges add a citrusy brightness to balance the spices and sweetness. Include both slices and zest for a fuller flavor.
🌰 Whole Spices
Spices are the heart of this drink. Use whole cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and allspice for maximum flavor without overpowering the drink.
🍯 Sweeteners (Optional)
You can sweeten your cider with brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup depending on your preference. This is completely adjustable based on your sweetness threshold.
💧 Water (Optional)
Depending on how concentrated your juices are, a bit of water can help balance the flavor.
