Ingredients
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
6 salmon fillets
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
-
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
-
1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
-
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
Instructions
-
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
-
Once the oil is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
-
Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
-
Reduce the heat to low and add the unsalted butter to the skillet.
-
Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic, chopped dill, parsley, and basil. Stir the herbs and garlic into the melted butter.
-
Spoon the herb and garlic butter over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well-coated.
-
Remove the skillet from heat and serve the salmon fillets with your choice of sides.
