8 slices white sandwich bread (crusts removed)

1/2 cup Nutella spread

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons butter (for frying)

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions

Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin until thin.

Spread about 1 tablespoon of Nutella along one edge of each bread slice.

Roll up tightly, starting from the Nutella side. Set aside seam-side down.

In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

In another small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together.

Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides, then place in the skillet.

Cook roll-ups for about 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown all over.

Immediately roll hot French toast sticks in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.

Serve warm, with a dusting of powdered sugar or fresh berries if desired.
