Ingredients
For the classic turkey bacon-wrapped green bean bundle recipe, you’ll need just a handful of kitchen staples:
-
Fresh green beans – snappy, trimmed, and washed
-
Turkey bacon – lower fat, lower sodium than regular bacon
-
Olive oil – for coating the beans
-
Garlic powder and onion powder – for depth of flavor
-
Black pepper and sea salt – for balance
-
Optional: Honey or brown sugar – for a sweet-savory finish
Instructions
Start by washing and trimming about 1 pound of fresh green beans. Remove the tips and any tough ends.
In a mixing bowl, toss the green beans with a tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. This ensures the beans are well coated and flavorful before wrapping.
Group about 6–8 green beans together and wrap them tightly with one slice of turkey bacon. Use a toothpick if necessary to secure the ends.
Place the bundles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast at 400°F for about 15–20 minutes or until the bacon is golden and crispy.
For a sweet twist, drizzle a bit of honey or sprinkle brown sugar over the top before baking.
