Ingredients
-
2 cups dill pickle slices
-
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
-
1 large egg
-
1 tablespoon water
-
1/2 cup bread crumbs
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
-
Dry the Pickles:
Lay the dill pickle slices on a paper towel and gently pat them dry. This helps the coating stick better. -
Prepare Dipping Stations:
Set up three small bowls:-
First bowl: Add the flour.
-
Second bowl: Whisk together the egg and water.
-
Third bowl: Combine the bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
-
-
Coat the Pickles:
Dip each pickle slice into the flour, ensuring it’s fully coated. Then, dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it with the bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. -
Arrange in Air Fryer:
Place the coated pickle slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking. -
Air Fry:
Cook at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, or until the pickles are golden brown and crispy. Flip halfway through cooking for even crispiness. -
Serve:
Remove the fried pickles from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or fry sauce.
