Cream Cheese & Turkey Bacon Stuffed Doritos Chicken – Crunchy, Cheesy, and Irresistible

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 cups crushed nacho cheese-flavored Doritos

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

 

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Set your oven to 375°F.

  2. Prepare the Chicken:
    Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast without slicing through completely.

  3. Make the Filling:
    In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Stuff the Chicken:
    Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each chicken breast pocket.
    Secure the openings with toothpicks to keep the filling inside.

  5. Set Up the Breading Station:
    Place the flour in one shallow bowl.
    In a second bowl, beat the eggs with the milk.
    In a third bowl, place the crushed Doritos.

  6. Bread the Chicken:
    Coat each stuffed chicken breast in flour, shaking off any excess.
    Dip it into the egg mixture, then roll it in the crushed Doritos, pressing the crumbs firmly to coat.

  7. Cook the Chicken:
    Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear the breaded chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

  8. Bake the Chicken:
    Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
    Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the filling is bubbling.

  9. Serve:
    Remove the toothpicks and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
