Ingredients
-
Two 12.4-ounce tubes refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
-
One 21-ounce can apple pie filling
-
5 tablespoons salted butter, melted
-
1/3 cup brown sugar
-
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
-
1 cup pecan halves (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
-
Prepare Cinnamon Rolls: Open the cinnamon roll tubes and set aside the icing for later. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
-
Layer in Dish: Evenly distribute the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared baking dish.
-
Add Butter: Drizzle the melted butter over the cinnamon roll pieces.
-
Mix Sugar and Cinnamon: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the buttered rolls.
-
Add Apple Filling: If the apple chunks are large, chop them up a bit. Spoon the filling over the cinnamon rolls.
-
Optional Pecans: Sprinkle pecans on top if you like them.
-
Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are fully cooked and golden brown.
-
Cool and Ice: Let it cool slightly. Microwave the icing for 10–15 seconds and drizzle over the top.
-
Serve: Slice it up and serve warm!
