Cajun Chicken & Shrimp Pasta – A Flavor-Packed, Creamy Weeknight Dinner

  • 8 oz Fettuccine or Penne Pasta

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into strips

  • 1/2 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning

  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced

  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, sliced

  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

  2. Season chicken and shrimp with Cajun seasoning.

  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, cook shrimp until pink; remove and set aside.

  5. Add bell peppers and garlic to the skillet; sauté for 3–4 minutes.

  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.

  7. Add cooked pasta, chicken, and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat in sauce.

  8. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley if desired.
