Ingredients
-
6 cups (½-inch diced) French bread
-
1½ cups frozen potatoes O’Brien
-
8 oz block cheddar cheese, small diced (or shredded)
-
1½ cups small diced beef
-
12 large eggs
-
1 cup milk
-
½ cup heavy cream
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon onion powder
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional Gravy Topping:
-
1 (2.75 oz) packet white gravy mix
-
2 cups water or milk
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 400°F. Grease a 12-cup Bundt pan thoroughly with non-stick spray or butter.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, combine the diced French bread, frozen potatoes O’Brien, cheddar cheese, and diced beef. Mix well and set aside.
3️⃣ In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
4️⃣ Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and gently stir to ensure all pieces are coated. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the egg mixture.
5️⃣ Pour the entire mixture into the prepared Bundt pan, pressing down slightly to ensure it’s evenly distributed.
6️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 55–60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
7️⃣ Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes. Carefully invert the Bundt cake onto a serving platter.
8️⃣ If using the optional gravy topping, prepare the white gravy mix according to the package instructions using water or milk. Drizzle over the top of the Bundt cake before serving, or serve on the side.
